You can actually determine when to quit this phase and move to another one. The things you are handling right now; no matter how fulfilled or exciting they may seem, it will get to a time when you have to move to another phase. But this should not take you unaware.
You have to plan for it. It is a certainty. It will get to a stage when your physical strength can no longer carry you for such rigorous assignments. It might even become a monotonous exercise, where you mind and body begin to look for a way of escape from this daily routine.
Doing the same thing all over again, over so many years can become frustrating. To prevent this from happening, you can begin to think of starting something new that gives you a breath of fresh air. A new lease of life. This how we were created.
Monotony easily sets into our lives after so many years of repetitive routine. When we force ourselves to continue, life becomes dull and unproductive. It is therefore imperative that we should always think about moving to the next phase in our lives.
We can only do this successfully by working out our own “Retirement plans”. You should not retire to go and sit in one place without engaging in activities that challenge your mind. You have to be determined to activate this precious time. Idleness can subtly creep into our lives and we begin to live without any active engagement.
This should not be the case. If you have found yourself in this state, you can change the narrative. Begin to engage in constructive ideas that will birth new plans in your life.
