You cannot say what tomorrow will bring. Today is pregnant and you do not know what she will deliver tomorrow. The weather can look so bright and sunny today, but tomorrow can turn out to be cloudy and full of rain and snow storms. It can also be the reverse and play out the other way. This is the way life goes.
Pleasant surprises that can suddenly turnout to be the opposite. When the unexpected happens, what do you do? What position do you take? Be determined not to be submerged by the sinking sand. How firm can you hold your ground? It might be easier said than done.
There are circumstances that tend to drown you and make you look so helpless in the middle of the ocean. The LORD Jesus said – “…sufficient for the day is its own trouble.’’ Matthew 6: 34 (NKJV). When you have a deep understanding of the uncertainty of tomorrow, it enables you to gird up your loins.
You have to be determined to get closer to the only One that is able to guide and shield you from the storms of life. He is our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. The One that is ready to step into our boats in the midst of the raging storm.
The only One that the winds and the seas obey His voice. He is full of love and compassion and will not fail to declare “Peace be still” to every stormy weather that wants to take us underground.
